DR. MARCUS GBOLAHAN DAWODU was born at Olowogbowo, Lagos Island. He had his early education at St.Mary’s Convent School, Holy Cross Primary and St.Thomas Primary School, all in Lagos. His post primary education was at Baptist Boy’s High School, Abeokuta and Baptist Academy.
After working briefly as a petroleum distribution and bunkering clerk at Total (NIG) Limited, Apapa depot, he proceeded to the University of Lagos, to study physiotherapy, graduating in 1977 with distinction in the physiotherapy department and management of medical and surgical conditions, a first in that faculty.
Since 1985, he has been involved in osteopathic and naturopathic practice. In 1994, he was listed as the first registered Osteopath in Nigeria.
